Clear the Clutter & Refresh Your Space

A Fresh Start is in the Air

March always feels like a turning point — the days get a little longer, the sun shows up a bit more, and there’s this natural urge to reset.

And while some people are focused on filling out their March Madness brackets, this is also the perfect time to create your own kind of “win” at home — clearing the clutter and refreshing your space before spring fully arrives.

Let’s channel that energy into something that lasts longer than a bracket.

Spring Cleaning Starts Simple

Spring cleaning doesn’t have to mean tackling your entire home in one weekend. In fact, the most lasting results come from starting small.

Focus on:

  • One drawer

  • One cabinet

  • One small space you use daily

These little resets build momentum — and before you know it, your home starts to feel lighter and easier to manage.

The 3-Bin Decluttering System

If you’re not sure where to start, this is one of my favorite simple methods:

Grab three bins (or bags) and label them:Keep • Donate • Toss

As you go through a space:

  • KEEP: Items you use and love

  • DONATE: Things in good condition that no longer serve you

  • TOSS: Broken, worn out, or no longer usable items

It takes the guesswork out of decluttering and helps you make decisions faster.

A Little Progress Goes a Long Way

Just like filling out a bracket one round at a time, organizing your home doesn’t have to happen all at once.

Even 10–15 minutes a day can:

  • Reduce overwhelm

  • Create more functional spaces

  • Help your home feel calm and refreshed

Think of March as your “reset month” — a chance to prepare your home for the season ahead.

Ready for a Fresh Start This Spring?

If you’re feeling ready to reset your space but don’t know where to begin, I’d love to help.

Whether it’s a small project or a full home refresh, we can create systems that make your home feel easier, lighter, and more supportive of your daily life.
